Born and raised in Ames, Matt grew up wanting to be a Semi-Truck driver thanks to the great movie Maximum Overdrive. Matt is a diehard Illinois Fighting Illini, Los Angeles Dodgers, Iowa State, and Chicago Bears fan. 

As a self-proclaimed movie guru, Murph owns over 400 DVD’s and will watch just about any movie not named Crossroads or Mean Girls. 

Murphs life goals include being the greatest play-by-play announcer that ever lived, meeting Chad Johnson, Bengals wide receiver, and winning an Emilio Estevez look-a-like contest.
