Trujillo Casts Doubt Over Heavy Rock Supertour

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo has cast doubt on plans for a heavy rock super tour with Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax - insisting the rockers will never agree on who gets to headline the shows.

Slayer guitarist Kerry King let it slip earlier this month negotiations had started for the first super tour of the 'big four' thrash metal bands.

Reports suggest the tour will kick off next summer.

However, Trujillo is already foreseeing big problems, attempting to satisfy all the rockers' egos.

He tells MetalHammer.co.uk, “I don’t think all four bands have played together at the same time. There is (truth to the rumor) but nothing’s concrete. It’s not a sealed deal. We’re working on it. There’d be a lot of egos. I think we’d be OK. It’d be an issue with the other three bands... The only way we would do it is if we’re headlining, and we would probably be the ones to put it together."
