McKagan's Loaded Leave Record Label
|
Former Guns N' Roses rocker Duff McKagan is looking for a new record deal for his solo rock project - after the band split from its label.
The bassist formed Duff McKagan's Loaded in 2000 before he re-teamed with his former Guns N' Roses bandmate Slash in 2002 to create Velvet Revolver.
Loaded spent several years on hiatus, reforming in 2008 for a new album and tour after Velvet Revolver stepped out of the spotlight following singer Scott Weiland's departure.
But McKagan, who recently revealed plans for a 2010 Loaded record and tour, will have to find a new music label for his group - the band has parted ways with Century Media Records, according to Blabbermouth.net.
The group tells the website, "We have been writing (new material) and it is going fantastic. We have a s**tload of songs demoed and now we are just looking for a lovely place for these songs to call home!"
