What am I allowed to bring in? What should I bring?
- Non-professional cameras, i.e. "point and shoot" or disposable cameras
- Sunscreen
- Small purses and drawstring "tote" bags
- Cash (there may not be an ATM on site)
- Blankets are allowed, but not encouraged — with the crowd expected there may not be enough "safe" room to sit in the crowd
Ok, what's not allowed?
- Professional/SLR/Detachable lens cameras
- Weapons/knives of any kind
- Illegal substances (incl. narcotics), drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Laser pointers
- Bottles (glass)
- Outside food/drink/alcohol
- Fireworks/explosives
- Large chains or spiked pracelets/wallet chains
- Lawn chairs
- Coolers of any kind
- Framed or large backpacks/bags/purses
- Umbrellas
- Pet (except for service dogs)
- Aerosol cans (including aeresol sunscreen)
- Any object that could be used as a projectile
Will there be food or drink available at the venue?
We'll have plenty of "state fair" or "festival"-type food concessions. Soda, beer and water will available to purchase.
What do I get with VIP tickets?
From the Ticketmaster page for LAZERFEST: "VIP Package includes: Preferred viewing area with general admission risers, parking, steak dinner with all the trimmings, five drink tickets and preferred restroom access" That's it (That's all we know too, so don't ask).

Yes, assuming that the event is not sold out when the gates open.
How much is parking?
Parking is included in the cost of the tickets.
When do the parking lots open?
Parking lots open at 9am.
If I leave can I get back in?
NO PASS OUTS ALLOWED — Once you're in, you're in!
Can I smoke at LAZERFEST?
No smoking by Iowa state law: The Iowa Smokefree Act is in effect at LAZERFEST because it/the Balloon Grounds is considered an "outdoor entertainment venue[s] where the public gathers to witness entertainment events." [link]
Is there handicapped accessibility ?
Yes, there will be elevated platforms/risers for our handicapped guests.
Is there an age limit?
Nope. LAZERFEST is an all ages event.
What happens if it rains?
The show goes on rain or shine (see LAZERFEST 2010)
Can LAZERFEST sell out?
In a word: Yes (see LAZERFEST 2010)
How can it sell out? Isn't it just a big field? Couldn't you just make it bigger to accommodate more people?
We can expand only the concert grounds to a point before it becomes logistically unfeasible to accommodate two main stages.
How will having two main stages work? Will the bands play at the same time or will they alternate?
The stages are side-by-side and the bands will alternate playing between stages with minimal, if any, overlap.
How can I get backstage to meet the bands and get their autographs?
The only way to attend the meet and greets with the bands as LAZERFEST is to win them from LAZER 103.3. Keep listening to LAZER and visiting this site to find out how to win. (It would help if you were a member of LAZER TNA!)
